Getting Started with Parcours

New to Parcours? This guide will help you set up your account, add your website, and start tracking analytics effortlessly.

Welcome to Parcours! This guide will walk you through the initial steps to set up your account and start tracking website analytics with ease.

Step 1: Create Your Parcours Account

  1. Visit Parcours’ website and click Create an account.
  2. Enter your email address and create a secure password.
  3. Check your email for a verification link and click on it to activate your account.
  4. Log in to Parcours to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Add Your Website to Parcours

  1. Once logged in, click Add Website.
  2. Enter your website’s name and its domain URL.
  3. Choose your preferred time zone. The dashboards will use this time zone to display your analytics.
  4. Click Add Website to register your website with Parcours.

Step 3: Connect Parcours to Your Website

WordPress Integration

If your website runs on WordPress, follow these steps:

  1. Install the “Insert Headers And Footers” plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory.
  2. Activate the plugin and go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  3. Find the “WP Headers And Footers” plugin and click “Settings“
  4. Log in to your Parcours account and click the name of your website.
  5. Click the “Settings” button
  6. In the “Install Tracking Codes” section, click and expand “WordPress“
  7. Copy the snippet of code that’s displayed.
  8. Paste the code snipped into the WP Headers And Footers plugin’s “Scripts in Footer” section and click Save.
  9. Your website is now connected, and Parcours will begin tracking your visitors.

Step 4: Verify Tracking

  1. Visit your website to generate some initial traffic.
  2. Return to Parcours and go to the Dashboard.
  3. If data appears within a few minutes, your setup is complete!
  4. If no data appears after 30 minutes, check your installation or visit the Troubleshooting section.
